David and Yasuko are equally comfortable photographing portraits outside at the beach, park or mountainside as they are in the studio. As portrait photographers, we believe in our portraits capturing the essence of the relationships between people, and the essence of the individuals within the portraits we create.

During Victoria’s rainy season, many of our clients choose to come indoors to our studio for beautifully lit, fun, informal portaits for gifts for friends and families. In the Spring, Summer, and Fall many of our clients have us accompany them to the beach, lakeside, park or backyard to create casual, intimate, natural portrait photographs in an outside setting.
