David Lowes is a widely acclaimed, award winning photographer, internationally
trained by masters in his field. After managing cosmopolitan studios
abroad, David and his wife Yasuko returned to Victoria to offer
the fusion of their talents to clients throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Yasuko, David’s partner in life and in business brings her

Commercial Photography
David and Yasuko both have years of experience with
commercial and advertising projects. Yasuko managed an advertising
firm in Sapporo, Japan for many years, was responsible for layout
and design, and owned her own business. David has photographed for
business brochures, pamphlets, business cards, and websites, annual
reports both in Japan, Victoria, and other parts of BC as well.
David and Yasuko have a full portable studio which allows full on-site
photography, a full service studio, and the experience and attention

Headshot Photography
David has photographed the performing arts, and headshots
for dancers, actors, musicians and business people for many years.

Portrait Photography
David and Yasuko are equally comfortable photographing
portraits outside at the beach, park or mountainside as they are
in the studio. We believe in our photography capturing the essence
of the relationships between people, and the essence of the individuals
within the portraits we create.
During Victoria’s rainy season, many of our clients choose
to come indoors to our studio for beautifully lit, fun, informal
portaits for gifts for friends and families. In the Spring, Summer,
and Fall many of our clients have us accompany them to the beach,
lakeside, park or backyard to create casual, intimate, natural portraits
in an outside setting.
